We were trying to purchase a home in the Rv park from an existing home owner that was being sold by the owner. It was a cash sale. We went to the office to get approval to live there. They said we would have to pass a back ground check. I said well i had never even had a traffic ticket, at that point the lady was not happy because we were not purchasing it through her. ( she was the resort sales lady). I explained further that my husband was immigrating and at that point it really went south. Then we were told we would need to pass a credit check even though it was a cash sale. Due to having cancer, it was true my score was low; but I told them up front. We were charged $100 to check my credit thèn we were denied to buy because of a ctedit score. They were going to work with us until they knew my husband was from Mexico and we were not buying a house using the parks sales associate.
