They have activities for toddlers to senior citizens
We had to wait in line. Buy tickets there. My wife was having the same problem
There is street parking and garage parking. I would say park on the street by the metres.
Hi Heike- There are a few displays related to climate change at Great Lakes Science Center. Here are two to check out: 1. An Augmented Reality sandbox at the Science Center uses a 3-D camera, powerful software, a data projector and real sand to show how watersheds work and explains the serious nature and causes of harmful algal blooms in Lake Erie. Guests are able to create topography models by rearranging special sand to represent land formations, which are then augmented in real time by an elevation color map, topographic contour lines and simulated water. http://greatscience.com/explore/exhibits/out-ordinary-exhibits 2. The Oberlin College Enviromental Dashboard on the bottom level at Great Lakes Science Center. https://www.oberlin.edu/news/environmental-studies-students-key-players-cleveland-foundation-grant Please feel free to ask floor staff or box office staff to point you in the direction of other displays located around the museum.
Yes. Great Lakes Science Center is open on MLK day with free admission.
An adult ticket costs $16.95, and a youth ticket (ages 2-12) costs $13.95.. meaning it would cost around $95.70. However, if you plan on visiting more that once I would recommend looking into a membership. A family plus membership is $139.00 and includes free admission for 2 adults and up to 6 children. An additional adult membership can be purchased for $25/extra adult.
You can do ether
The Science Center is not free on any regular days. They usually have free admission on MLK day
There are lots located behind the science center and first energy stadium that are RV friendly I believe.
I believe they do, check out their website.
Masks have become "optional", if that matters.
The area is open and balls are available for the launcher, but the ball pit is closed due to COVID.
Pretty sure website says closed till 14th for general repairs. My son's been asking every other day.
I think he/she would still have a good time, there's plenty to see. A lot of it is very interactive, though. My three year old still had a great time.
Was my first time so I don.t know best call n ask
No
I think the sign said Jan 4?
Yes it does. We have seen it move multiple times
I would personally say the science center would be better for kids getting into the double digits in age, but it depends on what they like to do and see. My wife and I are in our late 20's and we spend five hours at the science center the other day.
general admission is $17, half price for veterans. https://greatscience.com/visit/discounts-packages Just so you know, these questions are usually answered by Google maps users and not the organization you are trying to reach. I'm just a helpful citizen 😉
I had the privilege of volunteering there a number of years ago, and it tends to be incredibly busy on no admission days.
Looks like they did one last June. https://greatscience.com/about/media-press/were-offering-free-admission-part-cuyahoga50-june-23 Other than that, MLK day as was mentioned appears to be the only other one.
$16.95 adults we don't have small children but I think children price was around $13.95 and they will validate your parking ticket so it will only cost $8 instead of $11
It's 16.95 for adults and 13.95 for kids 2-12.
Depending on how much you interact. We were there all day and did the theater also.
$21 to enter science center, $10 for watching movie in dome theater. $26 for both tickets together.
There are live science shows every day. The just opened a new exhibit called Vroom. Check out the show schedule at greatscience.com/Vroom
The Science Center is free on MLK day and for NASA evenings about 4 times a year. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has a multi-million dollar grant from Key Bank that pays for the Cleveland residents free program.
The basic fee isn't too bad, around $10 bucks pp and parking was $8.75. We did do the IMAX, and we made sure everyone ate before going.
It depends. Factors include age and other discounts/add-ons. Go to http://greatscience.com/visit/hours-admission for details.
No.
16.95 for adults, children under 2 is free
8$ validated. There is another parking lot across the street from the stadium that's cheaper -6$, but you need cash.
Coolest place for about 4 years old and up! All kinds of stuff very cool!
To on the web site for the science and they get you all the information
The new "traveling" exhibit is train science. Titanic is not there right now
Seniors age 65+ get $2 off. General admission is $15 so $13 for seniors. Movie & Steamship Mather (steamship only open May-October) are additional cost, they offer bundled rates (i.e. $11 regular adult rate to just see a movie but save $6 off the total by getting general admission + movie for $20 regular adult rate, or all 3 for $23 regular adult rate - probably minus $2 off the bundle rate for seniors). My family have been Family Max members for years. Hope you have a great visit!
Christopher, there are many great exhibits for children and adults alike! It's an experience that you will enjoy!! ❤🖑
Thanks everyone for the response. My grandchildren want to go and they want me to come. 😃
