We arrived shortly after noon today. Finally got into triage at 2:30. Still sitting in the emergency wait room and they have no beds so they won’t test to see what is wrong. No one let on that this was going to be 7 hours and will do nothing for the pain or even run a scan!

We had an appointment at Pediatrics Two hours before my child’s appointment I received a call saying she was over the age to be seen. I had told the scheduler that she was 19 and she assured me she would be able to be seen. However the office called and said she could not be seen and I was on hold for 23 minutes while the person from CCF looked for an adult provider. She eventually asked the peds MD would agreed to see her. However now by the time I drove to pick up my daughter from college 50 minutes away we were going to be late. I told the person in the office that a decision had to be made soon due to time and sure enough we were 15 late. I called the office and was put on hold twice for 30 minutes and was never able to speak to the office. My daughter called scheduling and they cancel her due to not being able to arrive on time. Now we’re going to another urgent care. But how can the office take 20 minutes to finally decide she can be seen with the appointment already made for 24 hours in advance. How can no one answer a phones for 30 minutes at the Cleveland Clinic??

If you call the number and ask for a department they send you to a general scheduling call center. They simply won’t listen to your reason for calling and will cut you off and transfer you.
