Absolutely would recommend this company to anyone wanting to encapsulate their crawlspace. They were professional and Absolutely delightful through the whole process along with great quality work!

Each person I communicated and worked with at Elite was a consummate professional. Robert provided the initial quotes for 3 different possible solutions to my problem, then Ben oversaw Luis and Antonio who performed the labor and Payton handled the billing. Each of these people was polite, responsive, prompt, and efficient. Thank you very much for all your hard work. Y'all seem like a great team and hope you get more local business.

We had three different quotes for our crawlspace to be encapsulated. We chose this company to perform the work and are glad we did. We had a great experience through the whole process. From Jonathan coming out to do the initial inspection and explaining all our options to the crew who did the work and Ben our project manager. All were extremely polite, courteous and knowledgable. The crew kept everything clean, answered all our questions during the process and addressed all our concerns. Ben came out to inspect everything and make sure everything was done correctly. He took us under the house and showed us a minor leak we need to get repaired, along with showing and explaining to us how we needed to care for our dehumidifier. I was very anxious about this whole process, however they put my mind at ease and we have been enjoying breathing a little easier in our house now. It is so rare these days to find a company who is responsive and breaks down and explains everything along with performing well on the job and this company nailed it!!! We have been recommending them to friends already!

Strong scents from a crawlspace can be absorbed with lime powder, which can be bought in home stores, garden centers, and even pet stores. Spread the powdered lime on top of the existing vapor barrier, and if the scents remain, add more powder after a few days.
Cracks in the Crawl Space Foundation should be looked for and repaired as soon as possible. Next is to troubleshoot Plumbing Leaks and Other Problems. You should also check for Warm Water Pipes and Insulate it to Remove any water that may be standing.
Basements are used for living space, whereas crawl spaces are normally just used for light storage. Basements are more functional and add substantially more value to a home than crawl spaces. Crawl spaces, on the other hand, may be a suitable option for homeowners who don't have access to a basement.
To make it happen, you'll need to take the following steps: Attach a plastic vapor barrier to the foundation walls, piers, and equipment and place it on the crawlspace floor. All vents and openings to the outside should be closed. Add a thermal barrier to the walls of the crawlspace. All gaps and cracks should be air-sealed.
The best insulation for crawl areas, according to the Building Science Corporation, is foam-based insulation.
Crawl space encapsulation is generally not covered by homeowner's insurance. Most plans cover water damage, including mold remediation in a crawl space and certain encapsulation costs, but only if the damage is caused by natural catastrophes or unforeseeable occurrences like a burst pipe or a leaky roof.
If you have an enclosed crawl space, it implies you have entirely sealed the crawl area with white plastic. You put your own 6mm black plastic throughout the crawl area floor with a vapor barrier. Because the vents aren't sealed like they would be with crawl space encapsulation, a dehumidifier isn't required.
Depending on the issues that need to be addressed, foundation repairs might cost anywhere from $2,000 to $7,000. Mudjacking is frequently required to re-level a house and can cost anywhere from $500 to $1,500. Repairing broken beams or supports costs between $1,000 and $3,000 per unit.
