Everything was great with the dealership and sales team until I said that I was no longer interested in their vehicle. I contacted the dealership about a used F250 and outlined what I would like in terms of the deal, and they seemed agreeable. During the back-and-forth, and never having made a commitment to buy, I conducted further research and learned about significant powertrain issues with the model. Not wanting to spend $100k on a product with known issues, I thanked the team for their efforts, and declined the purchase not because of the deal, but the vehicle. That’s when things took a turn. The salesman proceeded to tell me he didn’t care because he had someone else who wanted the vehicle, but I should feel bad because he is helpful and honest. These messages continued for a day. After the third such message I called the sales manager as the behavior seemed to boarder on harassment. The manager, to my surprise, condoned the behavior. I fail to see why any salesperson or manager would find it productive to message a customer who stated they did not want the product. Im also not sure why I should bad about deciding not to spend a lot of money on a vehicle with a history of problems. These folks can’t seem to handle a “no, thank you”.

It depends upon what type of vehicle that you are trying to purchase. The people there are great. They will try everything they know to try to get you riding.
