They're very helpful for the community but the problem is is there a resources and stuff like that and government funding they've always help me out the best I can it's just that people like to explain about just because they don't get their way

I'm not sure what or who sees this...I would like to say publicly thank you to the officer whom was doing his job when he seen me on the ground and my daughter trying to help me up...then another daughter came to help..even though my daughters were struggling to get me up the officer never gave up trying to help. He called an ambulance..I was having a mini stroke..none of us at the time knew this. It has been almost a year. Last night I was getting out of the car and he said hi how are you since the last time I saw you. Lol..he said I was expecting you to get out of the car with a cane or a walker but I was walking on my own..I said you remembered me ? He said yes. My heart melted and I wanted to give him a hug but didn't kno if it would be wise. Lol..he stood there and talked to me for a long time..yea he was still on the job..but he took the time to talk to me he asked about my daughter and I had to tell him she passed. He was saddened to hear that. Before he left he said he would pray for us. I'm not sure if he will ever see this I think his shirt said Thornton?? Officer Thornton thank you agian for your help and concern, thank you for taking time out to even ask how I've been and thank you for making me smile you remembered me after almost a year. Thank you for the kindness you showed me and my daughter's and thank you for your service. This may or not matter to some people and to some it may....me and my daughters are African Americans..officer Thorton is white. There was no color barrier at the time he was like my favorite public servents...the fire fighters, they see no color only fire. Officer Thorton is also like that , he saw no color only someone who needed help. This goes to show not all policemen are bad. We cannot group them all together, we need them.

Called and the lady that answered has no empathy, could care less about anything and just went along with her day. Very disappointed!

no one ever answers the phone. seems like even when you do get through they don’t help anyways.
