Ever wonder how a person that has no where to stay or food, gets offered a meal and a bed and then complains. Wow! The people that work there are so kind and patient. I guess they realize most that need their help are not fully capable of gratitude due to mental health issues or possibly they are not helped by others due to their caustic nature. The store is awesome !! Super deals!!! Helps the homeless in the name of Jesus. The hope and changer of all hearts.

Go to 1st or 2nd from broad st Salvation Army not store the homeless shelter they give food Tuesday and Thursday 9 to 11 then 1 til 230 I think. Plus serves dinner at 5 for anyone shows up get a plate.call them to make sure the hrs are rt

They have a food pantry also bread sweets you have to go into the office and sign in to receive the pantry items also at 530 pm everyday they serve an evening meal and get bread at that time at the dining hall but they only serve from 530pm to 600pm its not much but it helps most of the time they throw more food out i wish they would at least give sn opportunity to give second helping but they had rather throw food in the dumpster but yes to both questions
They stop taking donations at atound 4:30 and close at 5:30 monday through friday 3:30 and 4:30 Saturdays
