Had an appointment with Dr Darby and Valerie today and it was the most pleasant dentist visit I've ever had for a semi major procedure. Great job ladies!!! Will see you again in January....keep up the good work!! I remember when drills were turned by pulleys and turned at about 24 rpms and what was novacane?!...it was like a turn on the rack as in the Princess Bride movie...it sure is much more pleasant these days.

I would just like to say how important Dr Gentry was to me the other day he was so kind and he is such a talented dentist we have known him for a long long time when I got to your dentist office the other day I was in tears I had left another doctor's office and I was very upset but I could not believe how much he cares about his patients all of his patients thank you Dr Gentry and your staff I will be back just as soon as I can by the way I know you stand behind your work and we were fantastically surprised how much time you spent with me after I saw my CT scans up on the screen and you explained everything to me I understood why I've been in so much pain I will be in touch with your office thank you so much and I'll send it

Dr. Tompkins is awesome! Saw me right away for my tooth pain and now I have a plan to fix it. Highly recommend.

Commercial whitening toothpastes vary greatly in their ability to whiten teeth. Because they are abrasive they can destroy tooth enamel and contribute to tooth sensitivity. They work by removing surface stains, but unlike professional whitening they do not alter the intrinsic color of the teeth. Always consult your dentist for the best recommendations.
Sensitivity toothpaste is very effective and after a few weeks of use, you should notice a decrease in sensitivity. Cutting back on highly acidic foods may help decrease sensitivity. See your dentist if there’s no improvement.
Provides early detection of disease or damage not otherwise visible. Examples: decay between teeth, infections in the bone, periodontal (gum) disease, abscesses or cysts, developmental abnormalities, some types of tumors, etc.
Flossing reduces the number of bacteria in your mouth. The bacteria lives on plaque between your teeth that the toothbrush cannot get to, creating cavities. It’s important to floss at least once a day.
Many people only see a dentist when they have a problem, which is “crisis treatment” versus “preventive treatment”. They believe they are saving money, but it ends up costing much more because dental problems have advanced without early detection in a routine dental visit.
