My first visit to this location and it was wonderful.The young lady working the front desk, Tiana. She made a wonderful impression on me. She was very friendly and made me feel welcome. On my way out I spoke to the manager, Ashley and complimented her on her staff. Ashley is a really professional manager. Thank you Tiana and Ashley. I highly recommend this location.

Unfortunately I am giving this location a single star. At one time I would have given 5 stars. There are many staff members here who I’ve grown to love and respect. Mrs. Charlene is incredible for childcare and took amazing care of my kids. Adrian is great at her job and tried to help me with the issues I’m about to describe. Monique is an excellent trainer and I learned so much from her. Unfortunately I got tricked out of $1,000 here and I want to explain my experience so that it does not happen to anyone else. I signed up for a year of personal training here but knew that I would only be able to use it for 8 months because we were planning to move. When I told the person who I signed up with (not the personal trainer by the way, someone who worked at the front) that I knew I would only be able to use 8 of the 12 months he told me that it wouldn’t be a problem and it was easy to get out of your contract if you were moving somewhere where a LA fitness wasn’t within 20 miles. Well we moved somewhere where we don’t have an LA in >20 miles so when I canceled I expected it to be easy like I was “sold.” Well it wasn’t. I canceled my membership in July which I thought would take care of canceling training as well. Instead I was charged for August, September, October, November. Again, this is not the trainers fault this is people in the office selling me on something that was untrue. I called many times and never got to speak to any one in charge until October (today) At that time he told me I could pay a cancelation fee (half of November) to get out of my contract and they could TRY to get me reimbursed for past months. This is unacceptable, and slimy. I told them they need to stop telling people they can get out of their contacts when it’s obviously not true. He said well it COULD be true but may take a few months. Could and a few months are also unacceptable. It has already been since July. This is a great gym and I would workout here again but I would recommend to anyone doing personal training here to only do month to month. The 6 months or yearly contracts are designed to swindle you and not to benefit you and you will not get out of your contract if they sell you as such. Again, I had many positive experiences here especially with the people named above but this experience cost me so much money, time and has just dampened my experience so much that I’m writing a review and I never review anything.
