Small but nice. Not a lot of parking but has a good sized lawn area with a pet/dog area, lots of picnic tables and benches with plenty of shade and a nice large well cared for restroom for men, women and unisex. Also, very well lit at night and open 24 hours. The one gripe I have is both of the couple times I've stopped here, the large trash and recycling receptacles were all completely full and over flowing. Other than that, it's a great little rest stop.

Great rest area. Clean bathrooms, a nice dog friendly space to let your pups do their business (please clean up after them), lots of parking (in the front area as well as round the back).

Beautiful, peaceful rest area. Great place to stay overnight to be able to wake up first thing and get to the Redwoods and drive through Howland Hill Road on your way to Crescent City.

last i knew it was open... they had some construction they were doing, but i didn't think it was interfering with the tunnel to the rest stop.
