Wesley Rest Area - Southbound

Good resting spot. Kudos to the team that maintains it. Has fairly clean restrooms minus the scratch vandalism on the mirrors. You can smoke there and Vending Machines are available but are old, some take only cash and some take card and GooglePay/ApplePay(NFC). But I've noticed some don't seem to work out well depending which beverages are desired. The place also has benches/tables far apart from one another. Also has waste bags for your dogs (or pets). Has parking for both our truckers and smaller vehicles but although parking is limited. When I got there, there were only two spots available and 3 for truckers at the time. you're lucky you'll find an available spot.

The Rest Area is in repair mode so it looks a bit shoddy, but the bathrooms are OK and parking is well lit and there is an Attendant here, possibly all night. Definitely seen better but have seen worse too.

Brendo Las Vegas

Trucker Life! Slept here for a night on my way to Fontana, CA. Clean restroom, well lit area, vending machines available. Not a lot of truck parking though but if you get lucky then it's a good night's rest. The highway is not that close so passing noise is manageable, which is a plus. I wanted to continue to Flying J few miles down but since it's already 8pm I figure that place would be pack already. There's a sign saying 10 hour parking limit for commercial motor vehicles. Oh and there's a working payphone if you wanna go old school.

I know it's hard to get excited about a rest stop so close to Stockton & the Bay Area, but it's clean and the last rest area for miles. And in the Covid era it's a lot easier to social distance than at a truck stop
