You can have your friend write up a rent agree for you and do a change of address with the post office and get a confirmation letter from them. Also if you have your car insurance switch to Tennessee you can bring in proof with your address on it. That should be enough to get you one. I would recommend showing up at the DMV by 7 am and stand in line. If not you could be waiting for a while

I'm not sure but probably. I went about a month ago & I cldnt find hardly any info online but after I got there it all ran very smoothly & professional. I was in & out in around 45mins start 2 finish. If u live in Robertson Co. I recommend going there.

No, you have to walk in, they check your paper work and give you a number. Usually it's a 3-5hr wait(ridiculous)

No you can walk in for the permit,but schedule road test. They open at 8:30 but I'd get there at least by 7:30,line gets full real quick. I went at 7:15 and it was already 10 or more people there

Social Security card. 2 proofs of residence dated with 30 days and alot of patience because customer service sucks!! 4 hours just for daughter to get her permit and there was only one other person before her. The front desk lady was more interested in socialization than helping patrons. She needed to get a drink of water and talk with Co workers about things that had nothing to do with her job. Oh and let's not forget, STILL she put the wrong address on my daughter's permit!! Go somewhere else like Gallatin. As long as it's in TN it's fine.

I dont think there is one my daughter is 9 i just got hers 2 weeks ago and my friend daughter is 5 she got hers a yr ago so they could go to Jamaica

Yes, as far as I know the only thing concerning licenses you can't do at that location is get a license reinstated there.

They take cash or card not 100% sure about checks but they prob do

Yes they should still have all your stuff on file of course you will have to provide proof of who you are like a birth certificate and Social Security card or something like that but they should have all your stuff still on file so you can get a another ID.

You should drop in when they ain't busy, say 4p, and ask the super-friendly lady behind the counter. That said, the simple answer: Be prepared to show your face, two forms of identification that prove who you are, two documents that credibly and currently prove where you live, and the fee. If you're a special case, YMMV. If you're talking Freud's Id, we all have and can't escape Id.
