My mother has been a resident here for several years. She told me today that she has no intention of moving. That said, she is 95 and I'm glad she had found a place to live out the rest of her life. The food is always a complaint because it is impossible to please all the people all the time. In this case, the food is great and the dining room staff are amazing. They know each person and remember likes and dislikes. I would say a person who complains about the food is never going to be happy anywhere. The building is old but in good shape. Today was the first time the 3rd floor had the odor of an old folks home. Everyone tries their best to be of service to the residents. Thet are friendly and helpful. The parlor is a festive room and there are activities every day if one chooses to participate. Tomorrow I plan to use the computer in their library. 5 stars? Yes. Apt. 110 is 829 sq ft
It has been a couple of years. When I was thinking of moving my Mom back to Colorado Springs they required 60 days notice. I'm am not sure if that is the current policy.
