We love volunteering here!

Unprofessional they denied our applications because we put a preferred name and we used my phone number and they said that it didn’t match up we have them all the information that was needed and we would have been perfect parents for the cat don’t come to maxfund and waist your time they won’t get you your animal
Richard Broestler
I've been depending on Max fund for over 10 years I've sent money to them tried to help out by adopting cats when I could and on 3 occasions I have sent cats to Them for adoption without any problems
Nick Albi
Everyone working at MaxFund clearly has the best intentions for their dogs. The application process is quite thorough and the employees work with you every step of the way to make sure you start off your new relationship with your animals right. From leashes, toys, treats, food, harnesses, collars, vaccinations, and even some free training classes and a vet checkup. Checkup Calls and return visits to the adoption center shows how dedicated they are to each and every animal that comes in and out of the facility. Lulu at the front desk has been especially helpful throughout the entire process working with me personally. When the puppy I had applied for went home with a different owner, she paired me with another that she knew would be an even better fit for me. Another employee Andi exchanged a harness which wasn’t working very well with a brand new one and some easy slip leashes too. Overall an amazing experience.

All the cats I saw in this room were chill lazy and relatively friendly. Shy room has a cat that really isn't shy, it's very outwardly mean. Staff said the room names are generally whatever, but the kitten and fiv room truly only have those types of cats.
SSI & SSDI
The shelter doesn't but the wellness center does have vet services for a very reasonable price. If you call and ask they may have a flat fee for a puppy package.
I guess no answer IS the answer- NO. But I would call them & ask.
Cash
Yes they do.
Yes please Doo !! I ustue work there && we have so many Kitty's && Doggies that would love a Foster especially now with all this madness going on.
Yes, and the staff is so nice and helpful , they are very transparent in the pricing and very understanding if you can't afford all the services at once
I'm not from there but I live right down the street, i would be interested in providing a home for one... I have one chihuahua min pin that's just over a year old that we got from this shelter were good with dogs and would be very able to take good care of em
Yes
Max Fund does take in (if have room) and adopt out. Its a no kill facility (with no max time or expense limit). Hope this helps. Colette Duranleau
Yes, any animal shelter or rescue will take your kittens and cat. If your by a dumb friends league they will take all your kitties with a minimal or zero fee
No night drop
I'm pretty sure they would take all the kids
Most likely yes.
You can call your pharmacy and ask your above question. You can also Google the question.
MaxFund is great. I shut down my allergies with generic Zyrtec. Had the same symptoms as a child and have owned cats for 7 years with zero problems.
They do have access to a Vet but I'm not sure the Vet is open to the Public. I recommend giving them a call. Great Question. 👍
Call them
Make an appointment, meet the kittens, find one you like, put in an application. Be prepared, it's a thorough application which requires references. They will explain the process when you have your appointment.
Go to Spay Today in Lakewood on S Ammons Street, they are really good. I am not sure of the cost at Max Fund but I also think they Spay kittens
Not sure about birds. You could call them, or the Denver dumb friends league
I'm not sure. All I know is that we were going to adopt a cat. They have cat and dog adoption facilities across the street from each other.
I think they would and they are a no kill shelter. You should call before you go, just to make sure.
Yes
They have a variety of kittens and cats. Go visit, you'll find your fur baby!
Yes they where open on Veterans day
Do you mean chipping? Yes, MF will check for a stray dog's chip.
According to an answer to the same question, yes (although that was answered a year ago)
I'm not maxfund, but I'm sure they'll take it if they have room.
I work there ask we speak i can talk to my manager about him or her how old is the dog ?
they shouldn't have a problem taking her, not sure there are specific surrender hours but I know I've been asked if that's what I'm doing when I show up a few hours early for the walk in clinic on weekdays, so I would imagine that more or less any time today would work
They do exit exams to make sure nothing is wrong. They don't want to give you a sick pet. Might take a day or two.
Help with low income payments
Selling mean the some form of payment is exchanged free means no form of payment is exchanged. Max fund charges in adoption fee for each animal
Me personally I think it's okay that's a good idea two thumbs up
There are opportunities to volunteer in order to help around the facility. Walking dogs or helping feeding/cleaning and stuff like that. You can check their website or stop in to get info for the paperwork. It usually has a wait list as a lot of people like to volunteer at the shelters around Denver
Yes
Yes! They have volunteer seminars listed on their website
If you mean by requests Max Fund Wellness performs spaying and neutering procedures, then yes. Hope this helps, Colette Duranleau
Yes
Not sure about what seems to be rhetorical question without providing specific policy and context information. My experiences(as adopter, volumtee and foster) were overwhelmingly positive.
Not sure but when people can't keep there pet any longer you can bring them there, you would have to call them
Yes they can take him
Please call the shelter.
I already have a cat with an attitude, not certain I need another? Can you describe the "attitude" we are looking specifically for a Maine Coon,
Yes, although it's best to give them a call to see if they have space
No
Yes
No they don't. But there is not a better shelter around!
What makes you think they do
Chuihuahuas are one of these breeds. And the last time i looked they had a bunch. But check the behavior models of a breed to see if it will fit into your family.
Well, it kind of depends. I was a volunteer with Guide. Dogs for the Blind and all participants dogs were free and I know other Service Organizations do the same but would have look up/contact to find about specific details. Hope this helps. :)
I have a 3 year old pitbull that we can no longer keep, we don’t have a house anymore and we live in one room house, where can I take him,
May is Adopt-a-thon, so until the end of the month kittens under 6 months are $75. After this month they'll be back to the regular adoption fee of $100.
If you can't afford to pay a pet adoption fee then you probably can't afford to take care of a cat properly.
You should call maxfund.
Charles, you will have to call them directly or go down there to get your answer.
Gene, you most likely won't get a specific answer like that here, you would have to call them directly. But Maxfund is a no kill shelter and I know from doing business with them twice now that most of the funds they receive go to the staff and maintenance of the building.
They do physicals in their very reasonable they don't do nail clipping they do have a groomer there of the will.
No they do not board, they are a shelter. There are plenty of other great cat boarding houses throughout the city. Try a Google search for cat boarding in your area. I hope your situation improves.
@Naomi absolutely. Feel free to stop by any time during business hours to hang out with cats, it doesn't matter if you're not currently looking to adopt.
I think they request a donation but do not require a fee.
Yes the answer above is correct
MaxFund is one of the best NO KILL shelters in our area. Give them a call to see if they have room for an intake.
