FAMILY TREE IN HOME CARE IS ONE OF THE WORST PLACE TO WORK FOR. PATRICE IS A 2 FACE PRETENDS TO CARE ABOUT HER EMPLOYEES WHEN SHE DOES NOT!!!!! SHE DOESN'T FOLLOW ANY COMPANY RULES OR POLICIES. Dear Demetrea: In my capacity as Agent under Medical and Durable Powers of Attorney for Marvin Spector, age 95, I retained Family Tree to provide daily care to Mr. Spector at his assisted living facility and while he was also under hospice care. Overall, I was very satisfied with the care provided to Mr. Spector. I spoke almost daily with the caregiver assigned for that day and found them attentive to Mr. Spector and responsive to my inquiries. In the many months of care, there were but 2 occasions that a caregiver did not report to duty. In the scheme of things this is a very small number. But more importantly, the response of the Family Tree management (including you, Demetrea) showed that the company took its responsibility seriously and did all in its power to remedy the situation. Still, the care provided overall was positive. It was apparent to me that the providing of care to the elderly and infirm was far more difficult than we think. The lives and well being of the patients are in the hands of the caregivers, and the patients can be difficult. They are often in pain, lonely, and facing certain death. I believe that elder care is a far more complex job than one thinks. I also believe that Family Tree excelled at taking care of Mr. Spector, and I am thankful for Demetrea’s management of Mr. Spector’s care and for the job that Family Tree did right up to Mr. Spector’s death.
