Two separate groups left with a very bad experience after a short guy in the suit, (presumably a manager) falsely accused two groups of untoward behavior.. As a result, both groups left. Nice place, good food, unfriendly staff

I always heard people saying that Cowford was a very expensive and not that great food experience. I put off trying their food for 4 years. Last night I decided to make reservations to celebrate my best friend's birthday and I have no words to describe how delicious was EVERYTHING! The appetizers, the drinks, the main courses! On top of that the service was expectacular. My water glass was never empty, our drinks were wholesome and delicious, they even gave me a new drink because my glass was cracked. The food portions and the flavors are insanely good! Cowford is now my especial event go to restaurant. As for the prices, I can say that you get what you pay for, and in this case I can tell we got the best in town and probably for a third more of what we would have paid in other places.

This was our first time here to enjoy an evening dinner. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu. She has worked here since the restaurant’s opening in October, 2017. There were three of us, one of whom is a vegetarian. The Risotto was a good choice. The other meals were the American Wagyu Spinalis steaks. One was cooked medium-rare and the other was cooked medium-well. The medium-rare was very tender and melted in your mouth. Where the other steak, due to our choice of its medium-well preparation, wasn’t as tender. Our next visit we’re trying the American Wagyu Filet or the Filet Mignon. We ordered the Potatoes AU Gratin which were probably one of the best tasting and the Haricots Verts. Our experience was above and beyond any restaurant we’ve ever dined in. ❤️

Happy Hour is Tuesday through Saturday. 4pm-7pm on the Rooftop and 5pm-7pm at the 1st floor bar.

No, maybe on occasion something special. This is high end upscale restaurant. Excellent food and quiet exclusive dining would be my description. Try it out is my other suggestion! I loved it!!!
Very pricey definitely approximately 80 to ninety dollars a plate I agree with one of the other guys that says Ruth Chris has about the same quality steaks for a lesser price that they do tend to have more fat at Ruth Chris on their cuts if you're looking for a new experience in Jacksonville or quality but less price I recommend River and post
Long selection of fine wines. Somewhere between 8-16. Pretty standard. I think you can spring for a $200+ for a bottle if it fits your fancy
