i’ve been a sober client for a very long time. i had a temporary nurse steal my medication. they basically refused to do anything about it. there’s always been problems here. people have had money stolen from them when it was supposed to go toward their medicine. this place needs to be looked into. not every nurse or counselor is bad but it seems like majority could care less.

Apparently, they pick and choose whom they want to enforce rules with. Many times as I sat there waiting for my family member, I noticed certain people sneak in past the hour, nothing said to them. I have a family member who emphatically needs their service. But, the Medical Director says being one minute late due to traffic then a squeal of your wheel is violent behavior! Then a probably not so tightly knitted person cries " she tried to kill me" while sitting on the top step which I s approximately 12 feet above the sidewalk and road. Judging by the reviews I can plainly see that the driving etiquette is anything less than perfect. I am not condoning the tire squeal, nor the traumatic rejection. Both seem irrational. They let them get addicted, then..... I don't understand why therapeutic care was not tried with my family member. And, being the ONLY methadone clinic in York, the consequence of driving from York to Harrisburg has a crippling effect on the patient AND their family every day. It leaves NO HOPE for normalcy. So, I am beginning to think that this place is a money maker with some important people thinking in small ways, not pro-active ways. This hurts the community at large. My opinion.

I come here to drop my brother off and the parking lot is a mess. From my understanding, people are supposed to use the actual parking spaces and not let their vehicles idle right outside of the building. However this is not enforced and you have people just parking pretty much wherever they please. Outside of the building, haphazardly in random spots in the parking lot (not even in a space), and in handicap spots. People fly in and out of the parking lot at unsafe speeds. If there was another place close by I would choose that, but unfortunately there is not.

Not Jen k. She’s great. But these are the only idiots that don’t give take homes when a snow storm is anticipated for a week before. They sure care…about there paychecks.
