That older woman who sits in the corner looks mean AF but she runs a tight ship, so calling the place Mom's is fitting because Moms don't play. The coffee is good. The Expresso is better. The breakfast made by the short Mexican woman (who does 1000 things at once) never messed up an order for me or anyone I've seen go there - she's always on point on the grill. The other lady is sweet - she'll toast you a half bread with the perfect amount butter - she works the grill too. The man in the back that makes the Tres Leches cake (which should be world famous by now) is work so much that when you do see him walk by just know that's the man, the myth, the ledgen* I'm gonna call him the Tres Leches Cake King from now on. And bring cash with you. Enjoy.

Once you pass the grumpy old lady that sits at the front door, you go into this old dirty bakery that should be shut down by the dep of health. I purchased a Cake that had a Napkin baked into it. Shake your self off when you walk out because they also have a Roch problem. I gave them one star because no stars is not an option. If you don't mind the Rochester and the rude employees both the old lady and what I'm assuming is her son the cake is despicable. Chef Ramsey would literally spit it out. This is not authentic dominican cake and neither is the service. You go to any dominican establishment and the first thing that they do is greet t ou with mi amor.
