I was eager to become a monthly financial contributor after their shelter took in my friend, only to find out that they are kicking out two families this week because one family had a medical ID card for medical marijuana and had that on hand. I'm not sure how you can justify supporting women but being upset that they have prescriptions? And they kicked out the other family in her unit too??? Why??? I'll be taking my money and support elsewhere. Fix your antiquated and toxic policies.

The shelter itself is decent comparatively speaking. However, the staff make everything into a big deal and will kick you and your kids out with no cause. They have no regard for where you and your children will go after the fact and have no remorse. They will put your belongings on the front porch like trash if you can’t find somewhere to take it. & I guess they simply don’t care if you came from an abusive situation because they will send you right back to your abuser without one care in this world. Welcome to the cycle of domestic violence, good luck escaping!

Restraining orders are obtained through the court. Make sure you have some sort of evidence to back up your claim in order to be granted your TPO through the courts. Good luck & God BLESS
