I found Dr Carrau to be very caring and unrushed in my appointments, even during Covid. His exams are very easy to tolerate, unlike others I have endured. He is very intentional with prescribing antibiotics according to culture results rather than “let’s try this”. His staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very responsive to my chart. It has been a long process for my problem and infections will probably continue to pop up in my life but I trust dr Carrau to accurately treat my condition

Dr. Carrau was by far one of the worst doctors I have ever encountered. He did not listen to my concerns, told me he wasn't going to just make up some kind of disease because I wanted him to, and then proceeded to tell me that I need to find a different doctor because we are not going to click. Mind you this is after I have had went thru the channels and my scans and reports were sent over and they had to verify that an appointment was needed. He did not care about my concerns and dismissed everything I was trying to tell him. Then had the nerve to tell me to "show him in the report where it says I have tumors" the same report that I have a copy of and he wants me to show him. NEVER will I go back to him or to OSU!!!

I saw Dr Carrau when he worked at UPMC in Pittsburgh PA many years ago and he was one of the best ENT doctors that I have ever known next to Dr. Snyderman that I currently follow with on my medical issues. If all MD were like these two in your health care, it would be a wonderful world. My thanks to both of them.
