Dr. Matt Pigott is not just a fantastic doctor. he's an extremely talented and skilled Orthopaedic surgeon. He's very personable, pleasant and easy to talk to. He also listens well and engages you in conversation. He has a fantastic team of medical assistants and support staff that help make your experience with him the best it can be. My previous Total (R) knee replacement with a different doctor in Dayton had terrible results. I won't go in to the details, but for 2-1/2 years that doctor tried to blamed me and the Physical therapy dept for his bad surgery. Dr. Pigott a glanced my latest xrays, wiggled my Knee and in less than 5 minutes of the I initial exam he confidently said " you'll need surgery, but yes, I can fix this". When I asked him how sure he was of it, he replied "100%, I do these repairs all the time".Not only was my surgery a fantastic success, My recovery, with the same Physical therapist I had 2-1/2 years ago, was phenomenal. In just 90 days not only was I completely recovered, my knee hasn't felt this good in 20 years. Would I recommend Dr. Pigott for knee surgery? ABSOLUTELY!
