Opened a new account. Was told there was a balance transfer offer with 0 interest for 12 months and that I had 60 days to take advantage of it. When I went in to do this, I was told the promo was over and that I could do a balance transfer with 0 interest for 6 months. This completely ruined my financial plan. I had planned to make this my primary financial institution. Not any more.

Car loan process was easy but after 20 months of debit card fees to pay the car loan ($8.95) I think I have paid double on my interest. They don't make it straightforward to link your accounts. VERY SAD to say that I fell in their fees trap. $161.00 dollars later I've learned my lesson.

Worst bank I've ever had by far. Definitely not a credit union. Prepare to be flooded with hidden fees while offering you absolutely nothing in return. They are a prime example of falsely representing themselves as something they are not. Save yourself allot of time and money go to BECU.

Nice people, but a bank that won't take rolled coins is ridiculous. Only a coin star machine, and they charge nonmembers 15%. Won't be going there again, and easily checked them off the list of prospective places to open my new account.We're sorry we weren't able to help, Jeanine. Any transaction done with an MC at the counter has to be run through an account, which is why we were unable to accept your rolled coin. It really comes down to an accounting issue and being able to recall every transaction if we're out of balance. If you'd like to chat more about this, please reach out.

Hi Candace, we don't charge our members a fee for out-of-network ATMs, but the financial institution who owns the ATM might. You'll always see a disclosure before you process your transaction if there's a fee, but you can also find ATMs that won't charge a fee by visiting our website and clicking "locations" near the top left; from there you can find surcharge-free ATMs across the US. Let us know if you have further questions!
No. They close every Thanksgiving and the following Friday. Closed Christmas Day but open the other days as normal.
