Only an amateur venue would be so inept at events management that they would so vastly oversell. Purchased tickets and can’t even get in due to the line of 1.5 hours. Unacceptable for a Williamsburg club. No one is checking to tickets within the line to expedite the process. Been to many other places in the city like the Mirage that handle events in a much more professional manner.

Pretty much like every other review said. The security here is terrible. The bald guy running entrance to emo night kept telling me to rim my hat, but I didn't really understand his directions. He refused to elaborate and threatened to not let me in cause I was being "obnoxious". I finally did get through, and then immediately was approached by another guard and offered to buy some drugs. So that was neat too. At least he was nice though.

There are usually tickets at the door, but they're more expensive. Not sure if it'll be different because of new years.
I'm not sure but I don't see why not. It's a pretty big place and we payed at the door.
you ever get an answer?
Visit a website and they have a schedule of every events!https://www.schimanskinyc.com/

You'll be fine there
Photography is allowed
No
No sorry
Look up at their calendar at their website, if nothing is happening then go somewhere else! Also they have a second room with a bar and tables it might be open, call them!
Nope
Yes
For a bigger artist like Jauz, you'll likely be packed in like sardines
Yes...
Festival attire will be fine. Never any strict dress code here
Depends on the show sometimes but for the most part its casual just nothing sloppy. I've gone in jeans and a tee and sneakers.
It's a club. They have very big clean bathrooms.
It may simply be dependant on the event. Last time i went to see a house music dj osunlade. i wasn't sure about any dress code so i played it safe by wearing a button up shirt untucked, dress jeans, and shoes. Most people were alot more casual and laid back. (Sneakers and tees and even some shorts) throughout.
