Fantastic collection of vintage guitars!!! The staff was extremely welcoming and fun to talk to. Fantastic location if you're looking to buy some quality vintage guitars!

Truly incredible inventory of vintage guitars and amps — almost certainly the best one in New York, if not the entire country. Staff was very knowledgable and helpful, and (in constrast to other stores that stock high five-digit guitars) let me test out all of the guitars and amps freely. They had an amazing collection of vintage Telecasters and Fender tweed amps in particular, but anyone interested in vintage guitars would consider this place an absolute haven.

I bought a mid-sixties Vox Berkeley tube amp here many years ago online and I was very happy with the amp and the transaction. I still have the amplifier and the last time I played it, it sounded great.

Vintage yes. New no.
No, that's been sold. Thanks for asking.
Yes anytime
This is like a used care that 'needs some work but runs great': it depends on the details as you surely understand. 'Mint' is usually best unless it's a celebrity. Would need evaluation, give them a call. You may get more if you give it attention first since you remove buyer risk and uncertainty.
probably. they do all sorts of unusual stuff so an oud should be easy
I'm not sure of their refund policy. I purchased a Kay Bass there last December. The bass needed the pickup rewound but otherwise the bass plays amazing
Last December, I was looking for a USA made 1960's Kay Bass. To me, this is a vintage instrument. I found one at Retrofit in Brooklyn. Anyway, personally I don't think there's anything written in stone that defines a vintage guitar. Some people may think its an older instrument of great value, but what is considered great to me may not seem great to you. Phil
Hi, we recently sold a 1968 F 212. We do not have a Guild 12 strings at present but that is something we are always getting in. I would check our website periodically as it is always up to date. Thanks.
