In doing some research just to try to learn a few things , I'd like to know just exactly what is a VINTAGE GUITAR ? Everybody's got their own opinion and that's fine, but is there something written in stone that defines a VINTAGE GUITAR ?

Last December, I was looking for a USA made 1960's Kay Bass. To me, this is a vintage instrument. I found one at Retrofit in Brooklyn. Anyway, personally I don't think there's anything written in stone that defines a vintage guitar. Some people may think its an older instrument of great value, but what is considered great to me may not seem great to you. Phil
