Ponce Funeral home recently held services and burial recently for a relative. The worst possible experience ever! This establishment operates there business like a dirty bodega. No A/C. They stated that the A/C just broke but, conveniently they were fans already there. I’m sure the air conditioning is still out. Not a single staff member in the parlor to assist with needs. Only one staff person in the office doing the job of 5 workers. Bathrooms gross and being worked on by staff during services. They put bleach on bathroom counters and we bleached our clothes as we washed our hands. The Hearse had difficulty starting and the rear door didn’t close as we all waited outside for over an hour. Finally we had to witness the Hearse drive to the cemetery without the door being closed and locked. When we arrived at the cemetery, we had to wait another our because Ponce funeral didn’t know where the plot was.

I visited this place to arrange services for my mother service ...the staff there in my opinion were unprofessional and with little to no education during the very difficult time of my mothers final arrangements ...I STRONGLY advise you don’t use them ...not even for your dog

I cannot express the gratitude and appreciation I have for this funeral home. The staff go above and beyond to supersede customer service and take pride in comforting others during their darkest hours. My father, Julio Estevez, was taken here and they made sure to prep him really good (just like his pictures) for his funeral. I didn't have a tie that I wanted for my dad and one of the staff members was so gracious enough to give me his tie for my father's outfit. THIS IS BEYOND STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. In the midst of COVID, the staff managed to help me and all of my family members and friends to visit by rotating, which no one was denied paying their last respects to me or my family. Dorothy, our coordinator, was beyond helpful, compassionate and responsive with catering to our needs. The pricing and selections available were perfect for my budget. The Funeral Director, Jose Munoz, was amazing from coordinating the burial transportation, church services and burial. He was sympathetic, compassionate, and patient with all family and friends. I wish i could give more than a 5 star because this funeral home caters to pricing, location and stellar service. I highly recommend them to all my family members and friends and anyone that needs funeral services quick, easy and memorable for loved ones in their time of need.
