I had 3 ultrasounds done and they were supposed to compare the results with scans done by a different provider the year prior. I went out of my way to bring the CD and printed reports with me and the people at the front desk said it would be taken care of. I got my results without any comparison done, so I called the department (which was difficult because there is no direct phone number, you need to be transferred to the NHP location ... I was on hold getting transferred and disconnected for over a half hour). The person I spoke with said that they would get this corrected, but kept making mistakes and didn't understand that I needed a comparison done for all 3 ultrasounds. She called me back twice and still couldn't figure it out. It turns out that only 1 scan got the comparison I needed - and I have to go through all this again to try and get comparisons done for the other 2. Also they billed me incorrectly. My insurance provider is listed as in-network on their website and I got billed for out-of-network charges, and had a huge balance to pay at the front desk on the day of my tests. They said this was my deductible (but didn't say it was an out-of-network deductible) when I'm certain that it should have been a simple $20 copay instead. I received a $1.70 check in the mail because they determined this was what they overbilled me by, but they actually overbilled me by hundreds of dollars. I called them and they said it would get rebilled correctly, let's see... after all this mess, do I really trust that it will be handled properly? Absolutely not. THIS IS THE WORST RADIOLOGY CENTER IN THE WORLD.
