Excellent diner with very friendly staff. I've been here only a handful of times over the past 35 years but each time I remember the food is excellent, the servings are generous and the wait staff are super friendly. The last time we visited our waitress was such a doll.

I, for one, respectfully disagree. I had a bad experience where the chicken salad club sandwich was like eating mayonnaise out of the jar. The waitress could not follow directions and was inattentive as well as rude. When ordering a simple hamburger as a replacement it took almost a half hour!! Everybody in my party was finished eating. Almost like it was done on purpose bc the original dish was returned.

They used to and during the summer but not at the moment. Right now, they have indoor dining and follow covid protocols.
Social distance/wear mask to enter and whole going to pay or the rest room.
Hard to translate that comment but Mark Twain has consistently large portions. I have never left hungry.
This is the BEST Diner in Union the horrible one is The Union Plaza Diner since taken over by new owners. The Mark Twain is the BEST
