Southside diner has had a place in my heart forever. My mother used to take me there when she was alive🥺😥 and I grew up on no welfare but every month she would take me LOL they have the best food country fried steaks the bomb! They got good desserts friendly help drinks they got the works. So please go there and have yourself a meal. If you ain't never been there you're in for a treat!!

A rare old fashioned gem. You'll go back to good old American times with the old school diner feel. Prices are very reasonable in 2022. Hopefully they won't go up. Food was delicious, generous cake portions.

It was so much better with the old owners. I haven't eaten there in years, and it probably will be years again. The food has become a lot smaller, and the quality has gone down. I got the grilled Ruben, and it had a scarce amount of meat on it. All the ingredients that make up the Ruben were also very scarce except for the bread. I remember a lot bigger servings of food and the service was always great. This time around, the service was not good, and the food was even poorer. I would not recommend stopping in for food; I would have given it a 5 start review year ago, and this review would have been so much different.

They don't but they do have a wonderful, inexpensive selection.
They practice covid safety rules. Masks are required until you are seated. And booth seats are divided and have tables 6 ft distance. We have gone there every Monday for the past month and half and haven't had a problem at all. Very friendly staff!
Yes, we are open! And our "Hours:" are accurately displayed under the drop down arrow.
From the information that I have gathered, the building was built in the 1950’s. It became Southside Diner in 1993. We are always looking for more information about its history. If anyone has any old pictureS and or old information please let us know so that we can find a way to display it. Thanks!
