It's a place that truly endorses Black Excellence in terms of the Arts and has a rich history embedded within the community. I love being in that space and now the Winter Motherland is there and is a sight to see. On display are Uhuru …

This Museum feels like home. Inspiration, Story, Color right when you walk through the door👌🏾 The staff is welcoming and their is always an interesting Event talking place. I held a community gathering here for the Youth in Arts, the Gallery Exhibition that surrounded us was the perfect touch. Kayla Harley

Went here for the first time for a camapign kick-off party and it's the perfect place. You do have to stay on top of the admin and remind them if you plan to host an event to make sure they'll be there to open the doors, but it's a quaint place for a mature audience, and they have a separate room with a kitchen for you to store your food.

Just found out about it and it's location. And now it's on the top of my list to visit with my grandkids . Visited other African American museums around town but it's good to know that there's one that contains local ( DMV ) history
