Very much worth a visit if you're a history buff. Lots to look at and learn. Bonus that it's in an old building that Parkersburg hasn't tore down yet, and they shouldn't, they keep tearing old historic places down and that's such a shame. Go and visit if you have the time.

If you genuinely love antiques and history this is the place for you!! For only 7$ this museum is completely worth it. The name of the museum is a little misleading because they have much more than just oil and gas history here. There are 3 floors absolutely jam packed with antiques and cool things to look at. I really liked the marble room and the basement full of parts and pieces.

The price of admission for this museum is wonderful. The amount of items in history you get to see is amazing. I highly recommend this museum if you want to go back in time!

Great museum. Kind people working there who know the history. Building is definitely bigger on the inside! Had a lot of cool items and history within those walls.
