I have used Sameday Health in the past and it was more or less okay. However, today I had an experience that was awful, and I will not be returning. I made an appointment last week for an expedited PCR test, which I need for a professional opportunity starting tomorrow. When I arrived promptly at the location today, a young man who was attending the front desk told me that they were likely going to close, because all of the staff were sick. I asked him why nobody thought to call me in advance to inform me of this. He didn't know. His supervisor didn't even pick up his phone when he tried reaching him to ask for clarification. The young man handed me a card with a number to call and sent me on my way. 2 HOURS later, I get a call from the Sameday Health call center telling me that my appointment was being cancelled. Ummm, my appointment was supposed to have happened TWO HOURS AGO sweetheart. Are you really that disorganized and incapable of providing respectful customer service? I ended up showing up late to my new job because I had to go pursue another option to get the test. Things happen, but the negligence and flippant attitude they had today with me about this is inexcusable. There are loads of other clinics and facilities for testing in NYC. Don't waste your time with these people.

My mom got COVID test there for her requirement to board an international flight but they entered her gender wrong. She went back and was told the report cannot be corrected. I spent hours on the phone and they said they can’t do anything.
