Being involved in an accident is not a choice but hiring a Good Attorney is, and this Law Firm is an Excellent Choice I Highly recommend them because they made the process easy. Retaining Morgan Lyndall and then Tom Giannotti as my lawyers I never had to worry about what was going on with my case and if I had questions they had the answer right away through phone, email, and even text. They Kept me updated on every step of the case and finally helped handle the insurance and got me the best offer possible. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the service I received. Thank you, Guys.

Last year, my son and I suffered a violent automobile accident while leaving the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in a taxi cab. The driver who hit us had run through two traffic signs that warned them they had entered the roadway improperly and that they were driving in the wrong direction. The collision destroyed the taxi cab, injured my son (minor injuries fortunately!) and broke several bones in my neck, making it difficult for me to even crawl out of the cab and lie on the ground until the first responders arrived and took me to the trauma center. Despite fears of catastrophic injury and of on-going pain from the accident, I actually experienced many months of good recovery and lessening pain. Today I feel mostly recovered and I am extremely grateful to my attorney, Matt Kahn, and the Butler Kahn law firm. Their legal, emotional and moral support was absolutely one of the most powerful factors in my recovery. Matt told me at the beginning of the case that it was my job to heal and recover, and that it was his job to handle the legal case, which is a signature approach of Butler Kahn. He lifted the weight of worry and litigation from me, especially the stress of lawyers and insurance companies representing the other parties trying to call me directly and press me to make statements or to agree with their findings. Butler Khan took on the whole load of concern while I focused on doctor visits, recovery, and rehab from the surgical neck brace. What an emotional boost this provided to me and my family! The second signature emphasis of Butler Kahn, at least to me, is their legal approach. Unlike the industry standard of accepting as many cases as possible, barely delving into the case, settling as quickly as possible and collecting their fee, Butler Kahn did just the opposite! They looked intensely and thoroughly into the case, refused to be bullied or pushed aside by insurance companies and lawyers, dealt with medical bills, and completed the case as planned, all while giving me a chance to avoid worry and just get better. I cannot express how grateful my family and I are to Matt for the excellent work he did, for achieving the financial settlement we received and especially for giving us peace of mind throughout both the medical recovery and the legal process. Finally, I have been asked how I discovered Matt and Butler Kahn in the first place, since we do not live in the Atlanta region. I have a long time friend who is a well known and highly respected professional accident investigator and has been involved extensively in accident litigation. I asked him for a recommendation and he said it was very easy: call Matt Kahn. I have subsequently thanked my friend and told him that I consider Matt to have been more than my attorney, but actually a key part of my whole recovery process. Thank you Matt Kahn! John

The statute of limitations is the period of time in which you’re allowed to file a personal injury claim. In Georgia, victims of personal injury have two years from the date of their accident to file a claim, although that time limit is subject to certain exceptions. It’s important to secure legal representation as soon as you can following an accident. That will give your attorney the time to build a strong case for you. Personal injury cases usually involve time-sensitive material, such as witness testimony and pieces of evidence. These materials can be crucial to your claim and must be gathered as soon as possible.
Wrongful death occurs when a person dies because of another person’s or entity’s negligent, reckless or intentional actions. An individual, group, company, or government entity may potentially be held liable as long as there is evidence of the party intentionally or negligently causing injury or harm. Wrongful deaths can happen because of negligent automobile drivers or truck drivers, faulty medical devices, unsafe work conditions, medical malpractice, and more. A family mourns the wrongful death of a loved one in an Atlanta cemetery. A wrongful death attorney might file a claim against a liable party who unintentionally or intentionally harmed the deceased. Depending on the circumstances of the deceased’s death, criminal charges could be filed separately. If the person who caused the death of your loved one has been charged or convicted of a DWI or DUI or for other criminal acts, you may still be able to seek compensation with the help of a wrongful death lawyer in Atlanta.
