It was my first time going to Buckhead Theatre. It was great and so was Doug Stanhope.

GREAT place to see a show. Parking around the area is decently available. The venue itself is well staffed, and the experience was great. Also, the Toadies were incredible. Recommend balcony seats, as a significant portion of the GA standing area is on a pretty steep slope, which can be rough to stand on for a long time.

Doors open at 530 for everyone but you should have gotten an email for your m&g time
Yes you can! Skip paying all the crazy service fees. Unfortunately the box office is only open show days and only one hour before the doors open. But you can still purchase tickets for future shows

Is proof of negative covid test or vaccine required now
Yes! You can purchase tickets for any upcoming Buckhead Theatre show through our Box Office on Fridays noon-6pm and show days. Head here for more info: https://www.thebuckheadtheatreatl.com/faq
First off, if you purchased general admission, it's usually standing room only. Seating is available in the balcony. Always be about 30-45 min early to make time for parking and the line flr admission.

If there’s only companion tickets left for the floor, is it okay to still buy one? I just want to be on the main floor but not in actual disabled area

Sure, but be aware that you will have to give up your seat if someone needs the seat to be with their friend in one of the adjacent "handicapped" seats.
What hotels are really close, and how much and where is parking?

There are a couple hotels a few miles away. Parking is available at various lots. I would recommend the hanover lot or 309 east paces ferry lot.
I would recommed checking the area around the theatre out on street view. I did that and felt like it really helped me navigate. Parking is tight and traffic is heavy
Not really. A few places in the back but you'd have to get there early for whatever event. There's a lot down the street that charges 10-$20 for parking most nights.
