Suprisingly..when I called to obtain info on a inmate's court details, the young lady that answered the phone after 2 rings was polite, professional, very helpful & patient with me..I wish I had her name but it was on Dec4,2019,Again I was shocked!!!!

Just plain unprofessional! I called with a question and the person to whom I spoke had me on speaker phone. I told them that they were very muffled and that I could hear additional people on their end, which was creating a distraction to our conversation. The individual did not have the decency to pick up the phone so that I could hear them properly. Instead, they continued to repeat the information with a growing rude attitude.

If you cannot resolve a dispute with a business or a person and the amount in controversy is less than $15,000, you may electronically file a case in Magistrate court. You may electronically file in your own name without an attorney or you may hire an attorney at your own expense. The Plaintiff (person filing the suit) must prove to the Judge that he/she is entitled to receive compensation from the Defendant (person being sued). At the time of filing, the plaintiff must pay a filing fee, which includes the charge to serve one defendant. This fee varies by county and can range from approximately$45 to $55. An extra charge for service for any additional defendants usually ranges from $25 to $35per defendant.
