Wow. I called with a passport question and went through probably the longest phone tree I've ever experienced, asking me multiple times if I wanted to answer passport questions and whether in English, having to listen to advice that I didn't need about passports, only to be disconnected at the end, saying they had not enough people to answer questions. What a waste of my time!

Had some confusion about renewing my passport, and contacted stephanie via email. Gave her my contact number so we could figure out my issue over the phone and she was insanely rude and condescending. Spoke to me like I was some idiotic child who couldn't decipher instruction from family help. Mind you my mother and I were trying to navigate the website and were sorely confused. Just to speak to Stephanie for help and basically get called stupid over the phone. Repeatedly told me the infomation I was previously getting to figure out my issue was completely wrong and told me that I was "old enough" to figure out and find the correct information.....MIND YOU AGAIN I had never done the passport renewal process before. Very very rude woman.

Absolutely useless. They have no ties to the Canadian government and if you have processed anything with the extremely slow unproductive Canadian government and reach out to their consulate in the USA everything will have to be reprocessed. Terrible system, the people try to be nice, but you can tell they hate their job. Honestly this is why things need to be privatized…the governments processing times are so slow and they give you random excuses.
