My husband and I needed real IDs. I called ahead and asked if I needed to make an appointment. The lady I spoke with told me they were taking walk-ins from opening till 3:00 p.m. We got there around 9:00 a.m., and there were two people ahead of us. It didn't take long for them to be processed. When it was my turn, the lady was very quick and nice. I had all the documents I needed. They have a sheet of acceptable documentation at the tag agency. I realized that the Oklahoma website did not have a full list of items. My voter's card did not have my current address, so I couldn't use it as one of the documents. So, I used the proof of insurance on my home. We went in on Wednesday, and it wasn't too busy at 9:00 a.m. I recommend coming here for a real ID or driver's license.

It’s walk in’s only. First come first serve, as you come in during the day you can add your name to the list. How long it takes depends on how many people are in front of you on the list. We try to work as fast as we can!
It is first come first server for the first 15 people. The line there typically starts forming around 6am. This is to get a Real ID. If you want a standard ID you can do that all online.

Get there early and be prepared to wait a while. We got there at 7:45 and didn't get done until almost 11 and that was for a regular driver's license. Good luck!

No, appointment is needed to go to the tag agency to get OK tags. Very different story when it comes to transferring your license.

You get your license there. You do the driving test and written test at the DPS. There's one on Berry just north of Main.
