OEC is a joke, brand new fiber freezes up, stops shows while watching and throws a code. Fast forward hasn't worked for months, I question on their website on Facebook and they delete it each time. I have called technical support numerous times and they never never ever fix the issues.

I moved out of Norman about two months ago, and disconnected my electric + paid what was on my account. Today I got a final notice that my remaining balance would be sent to collections – funny thing is, I didn't receive any notice until this one. OEC should do better and reach out to customers asap, not wait until the last minute to say something if there's an issue! Good way to screw up good people's lives and credit scores.

It helps pay for poles etc.
Not if it is one of theirs. Just call them to come fix it.
I don't believe it's doubled, but there is peak hours in the summer. Give OEC a call and they will yell you the difference during peak hours.
