Walnut Grove RV Park has easy access to Highway 35. There are coffee cafes and restaurants nearby. The shower and toilets were clean, and the shower/toilet/laundry room has a TV in it...nice. We felt very safe there.

Daytime staff was great. Afternoon staff employs a man call Charles who came to our site and just madly banged on our rv door and told me to move my truck. It was parked about a foot too far over. Charles is an angry man with a temper. I moved my truck and for the next few days fought over parking right in front of our rv. Too tight, very small sites. The neighbors kept parking a second vehicle right up against our truck making it hard to get out. Stay away from this dump. Pick another park if you want peace and quit and professional staff.

Location, location, location. This campground is in the middle of the KC metropolis. Camp on the west side and you have afternoon shade. Sites slope 3 to 4 inches back to front. Full hookups, but the sewer connection is uphill from the tank. It's pretty much a gravel parking lot with full time campers sequestered at the end of the road. We were there 3 weeks and saved gas, money, and time for the location is within 30 minutes of most destinations in KC. I give it a 3 for quality of site but a 5 for location. $65/night

Very clean, quiet and friendly. Great place to stay and it's also a Good Sam site, so you know you can trust it's clean. The little store has everything from RV supplies to food which was helpful when I needed a hose extension and wheel chalk. Staff is friendly. Stayed for 5 days with our two dogs.
