From check-in to check-out we had a great stay. Our room wasn't fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. We both slept well. Breakfast was fresh and proper temperature. The lady stocking the breakfast area was very helpful when I had allergen questions about the prepared food. Future trips to KC, this will be my first choice for hotels.

Checked in today, was told we did not have a reserved room. We'll eventually it was located. Got to our room very hot one air-conditioning not working took awhile for maintenance to get up to the room. Go take the kids to pool, no where on the website does it say being remodeled. Hot tub closed off. Exposed wires hanging from ceiling. Not sure how to add pictures or I would. Would not recommend and will not be here again.

This hotel needs a sever makeover!!! The hinges were rusty on the doors, our door to the room didnโt close on its on, the ice machines did not work, only one elevator worked (3 softball teams checked in) causing delay with getting to your room. The front entrance door had to be propped open because it didnโt work. The pool was disgusting murky and had hair in it, the front desk employees were very dry and it took 30min to get me checked in because they did not know how to work the new system. I could not wait to check outโฆI feel robbed in paying $164 a night!!! Did I mention that it was 94 degrees outside and the room temp was 76 the air conditioner did not work, we kept the temp on 60 just to be comfortable making it about 73 in the room.

Spoke to the front desk about a very smelly room. They said they would address it but never sent anyone to open a window like they said they would. Finally I caught one of the housekeepers in the hallway and ask them to smell my room. Even though the housekeeper's English was very limited they said,"stinky very stinky"!! Then the gentleman commenced to spraying a half a bottle of febreze in my room!? ๐คฎ After the second complaint that my room was smelly the hotel staff still did nothing. I ended up checking out 3 days early and going to another hotel. Only shining star was Jesse who prepared the breakfast every morning. Jesse should get four starsโญโญโญโญ*Edit the hotel reached out to me and said NOTHING regarding the smelly room?๐ค Only praised my comment about Jesse. So are they not interested in the smelly room!?

Presently the buffet is not open. We have upgraded our breakfast bags slightly and added in addition single serve breakfast options you can heat up, as well as individually packaged cereals and coffee.
