Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Didn't have anything for the rooms including toilet paper, had to buy our own. The floor turned our feet black on night one because it was so dirty. Wouldn't put in their notes that my mom works from home, so they wouldn't stop knocking on the door and trying to make their way into the room every day. Kicked us out today because we asked them not to bust in and clean our chairs today as my mom had lots of meetings. Front desk lady said they didn't have to be cleaned so we could refuse, manager busted in and said no and that we had to get the chairs cleaned and screamed at us. Mom closed the door on her and the manager canceled our already paid for reservation. And called our room and told us to "get out". And since she lied to corporate they now banned us from all their chain. Fine by me I'm never staying with them ever again. Edit: it's been almost a week and they finally gave me a partial refund. Charged me over $1,000 for 5 nights. That was NOT the rate I had booked it at or the rate before any discounts. They kick you out and steal your money, that's the only way this place can even make any money.

Booked a room for 6 nights. Stayed the first after a long drive and was exhausted so just went to sleep. The room was in poor condition. Appeared to have been cleaned but all was old and furniture stained. Ordered some groceries. Worked. Next morning I woke up and went over to make cereal. Everything is left on the counter was crawling with roaches. I immediately called my sister who arranged for another place for me to stay, loaded up my car, left all the food I’d bought in the fridge, and couldn’t get out fast enough. Paid for 6 nights, stayed 2. My new apartment opened up and the first thing I did was wash and sanitize everything I’d had at the extended stay. So nasty.

It's a bad scene at the Lenexa Extended Stay on 87th. I arrived to my room with a layer of dust on everything. The previous guest's soap bar had petrified in the shower dish. It looked like the room hadn't been opened since 2020 hit and the single chair was smudged with oil, dirt and cigarette burns. On the second day of my stay, the water was turned off for 2 hours in the afternoon. That night, an addled roach crawled up my leg as I sat on the toilet. The property is littered with trash everywhere. I travel for work and spend a lot of time in hotels. Typically, the $100-200 charge stays as a pending hold on your credit or debit card and falls off after checkout because they never actually run the charge. This place does. I called to confirm that there was no trouble with the room (that I caused at least) and they said everything was good. It took 8 days for the charge to reverse. I've had good Extended Stay experiences in the past but I'm fouled for good on the brand after this one. Thanks to Expedia for spotting me a $50 travel coupon for my woes.

Stayed in room 101, seriously, the bed needed to bed in the landfill. It was so broken down that it formed a huge nest in the center. It made noise with every movement. And with two people trying to escape the “nest, it was constant tossing turning and squeaking. The was the noise inside the room. The I-35 noise was constant and sounded like it was just outside the window. No sound barrier. People talking and noise in next room, running and it sounded like construction work above us until early in the morning. We didn’t check in until after 11:00, really wasn’t looking for much more than a place to sleep, this was a bad choice for any sleeping. A big disappointment! I have stayed in the extended stay on metcalf Avenue, it was amazing.
