06.2022 Decent apartment. Wilder is better under the new management. Service is much better under new management. Energy efficient apartment with newer appliances. You get what you pay for. Spacious apartment . Some buildings have limited parking. Original review 2 stars.

Update 06/06/2022: So I am really torn now. I have lived here since November and due to the cost of paying $1008 a month for an originally priced $890 apartment, I find that I struggle a lot to try to pay the rent. How I ever got approved for it, I will never know. I most definitely do not make three times the rent. But the office has always been super helpful in assisting me with payments. Will it look good if I have to move? No, but I have a roof over my head because of the personnel in the office. I mean, the apartment isn't that bad itself and they HAVE gotten better about ground maintenance. I gave them a three star review for pricing because as a company, it's too expensive for just livable apartments. But I feel safe and I don't feel like I have to carry a hand weapon with me to feel safe walking from my car to my apartment door at night. As far as cleanliness, the vents still haven't been done but I haven't really had any issues. I report a bug of any kind, including spiders, and the sprayers came out the same week to spray for me. So, yeah, I am torn. I like that Brittany is diligent with the emails. That makes me feel reassured that for the money, the office is keeping a lookout. The trash is always heaping full because I am almost 100% sure that there is illegal dumping going on and I am determined to catch the crooks. But all in all, it's a nice area. I feel safe. My energy bill is really low because the heat/AC work well. And other than the price, I just don't have any other complaints. I am hoping the rent stays the same for the next coming year since I am finally getting things together and settling down. I can see myself staying here another year if the price is right. Hopefully lower ;)

Edit (1/18/22): around November or so , management seemed to have hired a new maintenance crew, mostly Hispanic males, all my maintenance requests are getting completed fast. They seem to do a better job then the previous guys that's for sure. You have closed the doors on us and used covid as an excuse to not listen to us. We have emailed , texted and called and no answer. We've submitted maintanence requests over a month that are yet to be solved. Our bathroom floor had water under it and we are pretty sure it's mold now. Need fixed asap. We've followed all the rules and now rent has increased by almost $100 dollars a month on the new lease . We need someone to contact us and respond to all of our 4 requests which are currently pending. Update from 9/4/2021. Maintenance requests have been marked completed even though nobody came to fix them. Wow.

**UPDATE 6/7/21** For several of the colder months this past winter, I noticed that the unit across the hall from me which has been converted into a storage room, was left unlocked and unattended. I repeatedly notified the leasing office staff of this, and asked it to be closed up, because leaving it open was an invitation for people up to no good. Well, three days ago it was still unlocked, and a homeless man had helped himself to the space. He was massively drunk, and proceeded to relieve himself in the hallway outside the door, right in front of the mailboxes. Feces and urine were abundant and scattered on the walls and floor, which he then stepped in and tracked into the empty unit. He also used a t-shirt to wipe himself off, which was left crumpled on the floor at the base of the stairs. This issue was reported at 2am as an emergency maintenance request through the resident portal online. There was no response. I submitted a second emergency request via phone when I woke up Sunday morning and found it the mess had been untouched. A third request on Sunday evening, still no response, and finally reached out to the office staff directly during business hours on Monday. It took them 4 hours to get back to me, only to let me know that the feces and urine would not be cleaned up until tomorrow (Tuesday). Three nights in a row I have had to see, smell, and walk through fecal matter in my building to get to my apartment while management and maintenance were completely unresponsive. This is absolutely absurd and unacceptable. My lease is up in a few weeks, and it can’t come soon enough. If I could give zero stars I would. The people working in the office of this community are inept and horribly unprofessional. This results in a terrible customer service experience, and terrible living experience. I don’t recommend moving here. I “upgraded” from south KCMO, to Lenexa, and have had the worst experience here, and never had a single problem in SKCMO. Between terrible communication, bandaid maintenance, and a terrible internet service you are forced to pay for even if you don’t use, this place is a terrible choice, and I regret it. Oh, and don’t forget about the bugs. Cockroaches, everywhere. The playground is in disrepair and missing pieces, dog poop doesn’t get cleaned up and no one enforces it. People get robbed left and right, porch thieves and car thieves, and nothing can be done about it because there are no security measures taken whatsoever. The grounds constantly have trash just floating about, and the pool has never once been clean or clear in the 13 months I’ve lived here. The neighbors are noisy, throwing parties until all hours of the night with music bouncing off all the buildings. And now there’s a new bar, Black Agave, that also blasts their music so loud it echos through the complex at night. All in all, save yourself the trouble, go somewhere else.

What is going on with the water? It is cloudy and I do not feel clean when done showering. My hair feels like it is covered with a waxy film.
