The room layout has no full bathroom with the sink area at entrance to room, the bed was terrible, lumpy and the complimentary breakfast left alot to be desired with warm, not hot (bad tasting) coffee, no selection of creamers unless you like 2% milk. Anything packaged was okay. Very disappointing compared to the great Holiday Inn Historic Savannah.

They overbooked and did not have our room when we arrived. They put 4 adult sized people into a room with a single king bed offering to 'give us blankets for someone to sleep on the floor'. While the staff member on duty was very apologetic, it does not make up for the lack of comfort and lack of accommodation due to their overbooking the hotel. I would not stay in this hotel again.

It is north of the station. Probably about 5 miles. Easy to get to.
"How far" is not the right question for that area.... "how long" is the better question, and the answer can be based on what time of day you plan to make the trek. rush hours suck there.
