I have lived here for over 11 years. Overall I am satisfied. I do wish there was a cap on rent for seniors or at least a discount. They should also update the laundry rooms with electronic cards instead of coin.

However, our understanding at this point in time is that the Lease Agreement is month to month and before we move out we have to give Gateway Square Apartments a 30 day notice. Gateway Square Is disgusting. They have mold issues, and MICE! I have caught at least 9 mice in my apartment so far over the past 2 years. I keep my apartment clean and spacious but mice keep coming in. The entire property and in every apartment should be checked for mice openings. There should be no reason why I should have to feel dirty in my own apartment because of Mice. They climb all over the stove, counters, floors, and everywhere. I have found mice droppings in the bathroom, closets, and many other areas. This should be fixed as soon as possible. I don’t feel comfortable having guest over because of this. This is what forces people to leave. I’m currently in the process of getting another place elsewhere. I can’t continue to live in these types of living conditions.
