The African lady at the front desk is rude, lacks compassion and consideration. I would think that working in the health industry one would be empathetic and exercise compassion being as though you never know the reason for someone’s visit. Unfortunately that was not matched when I entered this office. As an HR professional, I am still baffled as to how/why she was hired. My encounter was so bad I left. Then after I left, I called several times to officially cancel the appt and she kept hanging up on me. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office!

From the perspective of a healthcare professional who was seen here: Do not trust staff judgement and ethical decision making with the exception of the medical assistant. Do not use proper PPE during medical exam (no gloves during breast examination) Lack of communication for patient records and referrals, as well as lack of communication and knowledge of VA procedures/protocols. Seemingly Lied to my face unless they are also unaware of encryption protocols and how to safely receive documents + outside imaging which couldve been innocent miseducation. Did not respond to lies or call them out because i feel like i shouldnt have to be uncomfortable at my appointment or question someone on how they run their establishment as i understand everything is run differently however, I simply will not be back and would not recommend anyone take a chance at this particular location Maybe another location would be better. I think this location has great potential to improve with some process improvement, a site manager or monthly meetings to fill in some of the gaps.

Horrible professionalism. The front desk doesn’t know what they’re doing. Someone needs to come in and change the way this office is ran. You can see from other reviews that this place is bad.

I am thoroughly disgusted with this groups Greenbelt location. The main reason I scheduled this appointment was due to the fact I was having heavy periods that lasted 5 days and wanted to know what my options were to make those days bearable for me. The doctor I saw suggested the depo shot. I asked her will it help with my heavy periods? Her exact words " You will not have a period at all." I asked her 5 different times about different side effects including bleeding and she said " NO! This shot will stop your period completely, I will not have to worry about any bleeding. This is my first time using birth control EVER so I was SCARED but CONFIDENT because of her suggestion and reassurance it would INDEED HELP my situation. I received my shot August 15th. Started spotting on September 5th and here we are October 6 and I have been bleeding steadily WITH NO SIGNS OF RELIEF medium to heavy! I saw Dr. Waldrop in Bowie and she not wanting to throw her coworker under the bus EXPLAINED ALL THE RISKS OF GETTING THAT SHOT!! Needless to say given my history she would not have recommended DEPO FOR ME!!! She is trying to fix this massive screw up but to be medical professionals DO NOT MAKE SUGGESTIONS FOR TREATMENTS IF YOU DON"T HAVE THE FULL KNOWLEDGE OF HOW IT CAN HELP OR HARM A PATIENT! I was already anemic and now my iron is even lower in addition to the interruption to my sex life and just being so uncomfortable for over a month! Dr. Moore delivered my granddaughter and advocates for women's health (especially BLACK WOMEN). That woman needs to be suspended upon completion of more training.
