I feel compelled to give this practice a 5 star review. I took my mom, who is visiting from oversees and has no insurance, after she started complaining of severe shoulder pain. We saw Dr. Nathan Shapiro, who gave her a corticosteroid injection and a prescription for pain medicine and refilled her regular medications. Dr. Shapiro is an old fashion new York doctor who is competent and compassionate, once you manage to get past his New York rough edge. He is prompt in responding and returns his own calls instead of relaying messages through medical assistants, which is refreshing. The staff has been amazing and responsive. We needed copies of my mom’s x-rays and we were able to pick them up the same day. Since we were self paying, they gave us a significant discount on our bill which covered the cost of the blood tests, X-rays and injection. I do recommend this practice, especially if you don’t have insurance. Since they have a lab and X-ray in the practice, you won’t have to deal with multiple billers.

After 6 months of waiting, no results came after the physical Bills came many times tho
