This is one of the few places that caringly preserve the enormous legacy of radio and television history. The museum is filled with examples of early television and radio sets, many of which are restored. The tour guides are knowledgeable and provide fascinating insights and historical perspectives. I have visited this museum a few times and greatly appreciate the effort of the volunteers who keep it running.

My daughter and I had an impromptu visit at the museum in Bowie on this past Sunday. There was no wait. We met Mr. Rusty Wallace who was the nicest tour guide. My daughter and I didn’t know what the tour was going to be like, but we had a lot of laughs with Mr. Wallace. The tour was informative, and we learned a lot. There are a lot of unique things to see. If you are in the area, I suggest you stop by.

This place is awesome. Small but packed with so much history. Learned a lot about the history of radio and television. The tour guides were very knowledgeable.

Museum is only 20 years old this year, so no.
I would give it at least two hours or more. If you have a very good guide available, it could be enjoyably longer.
