I don't usually leave Google reviews but after our experience with this hotel and the excellent staff, I had to let others know of their brilliance. We booked this hotel as a vacation package thru the official Busch Gardens Tampa website. From the moment we checked in and during the course of our stay everything was exceptional. When we checked in, they had my two young kids noted down and had small official Busch Gardens plush animals ready for them each with a retail value of 15 bucks. Nice! When we got to our room, everything was pristine except for the floor area near the AC unit. It was soaked in that area due to some leakage with the unit. We didn't mind it too much since we wore shoes/slippers around the room anyway. By the second day, we got a special call from George Sandona during the middle of our day at Busch Gardens. He commented that they noticed the leak in the room and that they were going to move us to another room AND upgrade it to a bigger room for us free of charge due to the inconvenience. On top of that, he even sent us a 100 dollar amazon gift card. Now that is above and beyond customer service right there. The was the first time in my life I had experienced such outstanding service from a hotel. Needless to say, they will certainly have my business again the next time I book a vacation to Busch Gardens. Amazing, simply amazing! Plus they serve free ice cream every night at 8-9:30pm and their hot breakfast spread on the mornings are on point with great variety. Keep up the great work Holiday Inn!

This hotel is located in the perfect place for our business needs. Most hotels stopped serving breakfast during the pandemic, I am pleased that this hotel continues with the free breakfast in the morning. The only issue I had with the breakfast services was that there was no decaf coffee in the dining area. I had to make my decaf coffee in my room.

Breakfast had great options and the 8pm FREE ice cream was a nice treat. Pool area is quiet and relaxing. I gave it 4 stars because a pipe burst during our stay and it took the staff hours to communicate that it would be hours before it was fixed. It was a good 24 hours of total time without hot water or water all together. No discounted stay, nothing but a notice one day 2 that was slid under our door letting us know they were sorry for the night before but that it would continue.

Friendly staff. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was great and there was always plenty. Coffee was amazing and served all day long. They hosted 4 soccer teams this past weekend and were so welcoming. They even gave out free Icecream to guests at night. Hotel does need a little updating but overall it was clean and the friendly service made up for it. Great job!!!
