Terrible. I had stock transferred to them and it took me over 1 YEAR and 11 phone calls each lasting between 30-60 minutes to get things straightened out. At least I hope. I'm currently on hold while they check to see that everything is finally accomplished. I never talk with the same person twice and despite them always assuring me they are writing copious notes I have to go through the whole story each time I call. Stay away from this company if at all possible.

Horrible experience. I was stuck using AST due to shares I owned in a company that went public. Their website is terrible and almost nothing could be done electronically. EVERY transfer or other operation ended up getting stuck for various reasons, and they would never contact me. I just had to keep calling back, over and over, talking to a new person and trying to unblock whatever issue their internal systems had screwed up. Avoid getting involved if you can.

Their staff still works remotely from home. This is ridiculous. HR are very unhelpful and slow in responding to e-mails. May 9 the employees were "supposedly" physically to go back to work. Turns out they are not and on-site work is postponed AGAIN.

I have all my investments in a different (and reputable firm). AST found my foreign add and then told me to CALL THEM URGENTLY about a stock I own. LOL. Never going to happen. This company is shady and should go out of business ASAP
