For the price, this was a great stop for our family! We were there for breakfast and we had a full table of food! If you leave hungry, it's your own fault! There were six of us so we had every possible breakfast they offer and all of it was perfect! The service was quick too!

Not only do they have vegan options, they have a MYRIAD of absolutely DELICIOUS vegan options. For a cute small town diner in Texas, my boyfriend and I were blown away at the well crafted vegan dishes we were presented with. The French toast, Vegan Migas, and the banana pancakes were all such a treat. Thank you Depot cafe!

This is a great little place to eat. Their portions are really big. Got the chicken fried steak…was very good. Service is fast! My buddy got the chorizo breakfast and that was a ton of food. I didn’t try the cake but it is supposed to good as well. This is a classic little diner. Nothing fancy, no frills. Good food, good service, large portions.

Good decor, and it's got a lot of historical trappings, which is cool. There's a few special tables, the large one towards the center has a lazy Susan in the middle. Another one has an old population sign above it from when Frisco had a population of ~1800. This location used to be a train Depot, hence the name. Average "home cooking" type meals. $9 for a burger and onion rings that was slightly better than fast food, but worse than Sonic. There are two types of onion rings: breaded, crispy onion rings; and onions that have been wrapped in a layer of smooth, greasy breading. They serve the second kind. We ordered, took a number, sat down, and they brought the warm food to the table about five minutes later. I don't know how it was that fast, but not hot. They have an assortment of hot sauces and condiments available, from Tabasco to one called Firey Devil. An okay place to eat if you don't believe in COVID, maybe? (July 2021) No masks, social distancing or anything acknowledging that COVID ever existed, even as deaths are on the rise again due to the Delta variant. Overall: Overpriced and underwhelming. I wanted to like it, partly because it's a local, historical spot; partly because my mom really likes this place, but it wasn't for me. I won't be going back.
